    Company Inception

    DataGurus LLC was founded with the vision of helping businesses use data, analytics, and technology to make smarter decisions. The company began as a founder-led consulting and innovation initiative focused on data strategy, software solutions, and analytics transformation.

    Foundation and Capability Building

    The company focused on building its foundation, defining its service offerings, and strengthening capabilities across data engineering, business intelligence, cloud platforms, database design, and reporting. This year established the technical and strategic groundwork for everything that followed.

  3. 2023

    Geographic Expansion Across the United States

    DataGurus LLC extended its presence beyond North Carolina into California, Washington, and Texas, broadening its professional network across key technology and business markets. This marked an important step in positioning the company as a growing data and technology services organization with national visibility.

    Enterprise Training and Talent Development

    DataGurus LLC began executing training batches for students and early-career professionals. These programs provided real, enterprise-style experience and helped participants learn to solve genuine business problems using data, analytics, technology, and structured problem-solving.

    Expansion into Data Platforms and Analytics Solutions

    The company expanded its vision beyond consulting into reusable platforms and data-driven products. Early concepts around DGBeacon / Beacon AI began forming, with a focus on dashboards, intelligent data discovery, ecommerce insights, automated reporting, and business performance analytics.

    Client Solutions and Product Direction

    DataGurus deepened its technical capabilities across MySQL, Python, APIs, cloud tools, Snowflake, and MongoDB, alongside dashboards and automation. The company sharpened its direction toward AI-enabled business solutions, modern data platforms, contract resource support, training-led delivery, and custom application development.

    Strategic Partnership with AceIQ

    DataGurus formed a strategic partnership with AceIQ to strengthen backend architecture, secure AWS-backed hosting, CI/CD deployment, and AI design and development. The collaboration expanded DataGurus' delivery capacity for high-performance web experiences and production-grade, scalable infrastructure.

  8. 2025

    Productization, R&D, and Market Validation

    DataGurus accelerated its product and R&D efforts, investing in proprietary platforms such as DGBeacon / Beacon AI, ecommerce analytics, plant intelligence, and AI-powered automation. R&D documentation reflected approximately 1,040 hours of development effort and $104,000 in qualified research activity for 2025, while client-facing analytics, reporting, and modernization work continued.

  9. 2025 – 2026

    Plant Truck / Tropical Cart / Wholesale Plant Intelligence

    DataGurus supported plant and wholesale business technology needs, including legacy Java/JSP storefront modernization, MySQL reporting, inventory analysis, delivery route insights, and vendor availability reporting. This work strengthened the company's expertise in ecommerce, wholesale logistics, plant industry workflows, and operational business intelligence.

    Plant Intelligence Platform

    DataGurus advanced the Plant Intelligence Platform, designed to manage thousands of structured plant records with AI-assisted descriptions and care guidance. It features smart search, admin review workflows, FastAPI backend services, MongoDB Atlas storage, and intelligent suggestion capabilities.

    BrowBalance AI

    DataGurus launched and developed BrowBalance AI, an AI-powered eyebrow symmetry analysis product for microblading and beauty professionals. The product supports client photo analysis, symmetry scoring, brow measurements, visual annotations, session history, and professional client reports.

  12. 2026

    BrowsByRamya — Cutting-Edge Website Delivery

    DataGurus designed and delivered a modern, high-performance website for Brows And Beyond By Ramya, a microblading and permanent makeup studio in Youngsville, NC. The build featured online booking and consultation flows, a services catalog, client reviews, a before-and-after portfolio, and an SEO-optimized, mobile-first experience.

    ICAI Michigan Chapter & Global Website Launch

    DataGurus served as the technology partner and sponsor for the ICAI Michigan Chapter global website launch. The engagement included website support, event technology support, branding assistance, flyer and agenda design collaboration, and community-focused digital presence support.
